Break Time at My FC Seoul Part-Time Job: Finding a Bit of Romance Around Seoul World Cup Stadium (FC서울 알바 쉬는 시간, 서울월드컵경기장 주위에서 찾은 작은 낭만)

Yesterday, FC Seoul and Daegu FC played a match at the Seoul World Cup Stadium.
I worked part-time at the FC Seoul fan shop.
Since it was my first time there, I took the opportunity during lunch and breaks to look around the stadium and its surroundings.
There were many forests and parks around the stadium.
It was my first time seeing a soccer stadium up close, and it felt truly magnificent and huge.

어제 서울월드컵경기장에서 FC서울 와 대구FC가 경기를 하였다.
나는 서울FC 팬샵에서 알바를 하였다.
나는 그곳이 처음이라 점심시간과 쉬는시간 틈틈이 경기장과 경기장주변을 둘러보았다.
경기장 주변에는 숲과 공원이 많았다.
나는 축구 경기장을 이렇게 가까이서본게 처음이라 정말 장엄하고 크게 느껴졌다.

I was so surprised to find that there were movie theater, Daiso store, and lots of restaurants than i had expected

경기장 시설안에 영화관, 다이소, 식당들이 생각보다 많아 놀랐다.

Peace Park(평화의공원)🌲

There was a peaceful and beautiful park connected to the south side of the stadium.

The path between the park and the stadium was really nice.

Later, when i looked it up on the internet, I found out that the place was called Peace Park.

There was also a pond called Nanji Pond in the park, where they have a small fountain show.

경기장 남측과 이어진 평화롭고 아름다운 공원이있었다.
공원과 경기장사이의 길이 정말 좋았다.
나중에 인터넷에서 찾아보니 그곳은 평화의 공원 이라는 이름을 가지고 있었다.
그리고 소규모 예쁜 분수쇼를 하는 난지연못도 그 공원에 있었다.

At the entrance of the park, tall trees welcomed us.

Peace Park had many benches to rest on and lots of cute and interesting structures.

I really regretted not having enough time to see everything, so i promised myself to definitely come back again later

공원 초입부에 길다란 나무들이 우리를 반겨줬다.
평화의 공원에는 쉴 수 있는 벤치와 귀엽고 멋진 구조물들이 정말많았다.
시간이 없어 다 돌아보지 못한것이 정말로 아쉬워서 나중에 꼭 다시와야겠다고 다짐했다.

Seoul World Cup Stadium(서울 월드컵 경기장)⚽

Before I knew it, the match time was approaching, and fans from both sides gradually began arriving at World Cup Stadium Station.
어느새 경기시간에 가까워지고 양측 팬들이 서서히 월드컵경기장역에 도착하기 시작하였다.

I worked hard and was given a 45-minute break.
In the evening, i was curious about the atmosphere here, so i took a walk in a nearby park and discovered an impressive structure.

나는 열심히 일을 하고 쉬는시간 45분을 배정받아 저녁에 이곳의 분위기가 궁금하여 또 근처 공원을 산책하다 멋진 구조물을 발견하였다.

그 구조물은 축구공 모양이었다.

The structure is called the World Ball.
It was built by the Seoul city government to commemorate the 2002 Korea-Japan World Cup.
I returned to the stadium along a beautiful tree-lined path, worked some overtime, and then left for home.

이 구조물의 이름은 월드볼이다.

2002년 한일 월드컵을 기념하여 서울시가 만들었다.
나는 멋진 나무길을 따라 경기장을 복귀하여 잔업을 하고 퇴근하였다.
