나는 본래 호기심이 많아서 한 번쯤 해외에서 살고싶었다.
그리고 나는 영어 회화를 잘하고 싶은 욕심이 예전부터 있었다.
그래서 나는 영국 워킹홀리데이를 가기로 결심했다.

인천공항에 일찍 도착해 여기저기 구경하였다.
인천공항에 들어가자마자 보이는 커다란 전광판이 나를 반겨주었다.

I entered the duty-free area and enjoyed a free meal at the Matina Lounge using my KB Card benefits.

Right after coming down the escalator from the lounge, there was a Korean Traditional Culture Center, so I went to have a look.

어느덧 비행 시간이 되어 상하이행 비행기를 타러갔다.
Before I knew it, it was time for my flight, and I headed to board my flight to Shanghai.
약 2시간도 안 되는 비행인데 기내식을 준다.
맛은 나쁘지 않았다.
Even though the flight takes less than two hours, they serve an in-flight meal.The taste was not bad.
기내식을 먹고 잠시 앉아 있으니 어느새 상하이 공항에 도착했다.
공항이 엄청컸다
After having the in-flight meal and sitting for a while, I soon arrived at Shanghai Airport.

이번 비행은 12시간이 넘는 장거리 비행이다.
비행기가 이륙하고 잠시 뒤 창문덮개를 닫아 창가 자리 앉은 의미가 사라졌다 :(
다음에 장거리 비행을 예매할 떄는 복도자리로 해야겠다.
기내식 먹고 좌석 앞 디스플레이로 비행기 현재위치보고 넷플릭스를 보고나니 런던 상공이라 곧 착륙한다고 창문 덮개를 올리라고 했다.

Next time I book a long-haul flight, I think I’ll choose an aisle seat.

내가 런던에 있다 아직 믿기지 않았다.
나는 임시 숙소가 있는 센트럴 런던으로 향하였다.
앞으로 영국에 머무는 동안 새로운 것을 체험하면서 영어실력도 키워, 뜻깊은 시간을 보내고싶다.
이 시간이 나중에 뒤돌아서 보면 빛났던 순간으로 기억되도록 만들어 나갈 것이다.
I headed to Central London, where my temporary accommodation was.
While staying in the UK, I want to experience new things and improve my English, making the most of my time here.
I hope that when I look back on this period later, it will be remembered as one of the most meaningful and shining times of my life.
